Bay and Stew began in 2013 when I first started making jewelry and couldn’t find high-quality stamping blanks that met my standards — so I began making my own. Soon after, I started offering these blanks to other small jewelry businesses, and from there, expanded into chains, findings, and more.
When permanent jewelry began to take off, I received more and more requests for my gold-filled connectors and custom hand-stamped pieces from customers in the permanent jewelry industry.
From Basement dreams to handcrafted pieces - the early days, 2016
Today, Bay and Stew is proud to supply premium materials to makers across the handmade, engraved, and permanent jewelry communities.
The name Bay and Stew comes from my two Italian Greyhounds, Bailey and Stewie, who were always by my side in the studio while I created jewelry. Though they’re no longer with me, their memory is a sweet reminder of where it all started — with passion, creativity, and a lot of heart.
